Argentina has a great mineral wealth that translates into an extraordinary potential for the development of the mining industry. The contribution, direct and indirect, that this activity makes to the regional and provincial economies, is key to its sustainability. In recent years there has been an accelerated growth of this industry, with heavy investments in large projects in the medium and long term. In this sense, the province of San Juan plays a prominent role in international mining, with a historical tradition in the production of lime and industrial minerals.
Since 2006, San Juan has hosted one of the most important fairs in the country. In 2018, it is preparing for the first double exhibition, which will include the parallel development of the VII San Juan International Expo, the Argentine Mining Development Factor and ExpoAR Infraestructura, with the aim of integrating the country's largest industries. Once again, Megatrans will be present in the Argentine mining capital to support the industry.
Organized by the specialized magazine Panorama Minero, with the support of the government of the province of San Juan, the event will take place from April 18 to 20 on the premises of the Maverick company in Pocito, San Juan. In an area of 6,900 square meters covered, divided into two pavilions, the exhibition will have 190 stands and an external area for the exhibition of machinery, supplies and services for the mining industry.
The schedule of activities includes the development of conferences, meetings of leaders and business rounds. The fair will feature the presence of mining entrepreneurs from various countries, leaders of large industries and specialists. Likewise, national companies supplying equipment, technology, supplies and services for the industry, as well as mining companies, consultants and international suppliers will participate.
This important event will take place in a context of insertion of the country in world markets and interest in attracting the necessary capital for the start-up of works, which will be carried out through Public-Private Participation (PPP) projects. , which will facilitate the creation of new business alliances.
